Card Details
Mana CostCharacter Background
Sedris, the Traitor King is a mythic grind engine that rewards a value-heavy reanimator game plan, especially in Grixis shells that can stock the graveyard early and then turn every dead creature into a temporary threat. A 5/5 for four mana, he also pressures the board on his own, but his real strength is granting unearth {2}{B} to every creature card in your graveyard, effectively turning your graveyard into a second hand full of haste-enabled attackers. In play, he shines when paired with loot effects, self-mill, and creatures with enter-the-battlefield or death triggers, since unearthing them still lets you cash in immediate value before they disappear. Cards that discard themselves or trade well in combat are especially strong here, and sacrifice outlets can let you squeeze out additional benefits before exile. Sedris supports a recursive midrange or combo-control plan, where repeated graveyard pressure keeps opponents from stabilizing.
